Fishing Tackle can be sourced many ways, here's some.

Easiest and cheapest - Hire Rods and Reels aboard White Maiden
Never been boat fishing before? 'No gear and no idea'. A rod and reel, with end tackle to match can be hired for just £6 a day during 2008. Unless, of course, you loose them overboard (after being told what to do a couple of times) when it may cost you more, a good fish can take the lot if you don't set the drag and the ratchet! If I haven't told you, then whose fault is that? Mine!

Buy On Line
This is my preferred source for tackle. I try to bulk buy 'end tackle' but first you MUST know exactly what you need. There are many sites available, just 'google' away.

Easy - Local Tackle Shops
The Local Tackle shop is our general angling service centre and holds mostly everything you need for all disciplines. They can often give local advice and some will price match too. We have many in the area including Tightlines (Totton), BHG (Lymington), Loni's (New Milton), Poigndestre's (Shirley, Southampton) and Bells (Hythe). These are all good sources of local information and hold all the contemporary tackle to match modern angling techniques.
